while driving my car shutdown and now will not start!!!
I have a 2006 evo9 with a road tune by scott from TTP. well yesterday while driving home from tampa my car suddenly lost power and now will not restart.
my car is not really all that modded just a tune, turbo back, DV, intake filter and MBC. a friend of mine tried to read the ECU but nothing will come up???? any ideas what might have caused this? everything seems to work and turns over but will not fire!!!.

Go back to scott...
We have been doing this for 14 years now... We have seen it all...
Check the fuse box by your left knee, a 10 or 15 amp engine fuse.
Then check the underhood fuse box, there are about two engine fuses there as well. It is likely that one is blown.
Good Luck.

funny i just got finished working on my car, i come back to post my findings and see your right on the money.just wished i had seen your posting earlier. i did find where the 20 amp engine fuse "engine compartment fuse box" was blown. replaced the fuse and it keep "blowing!" at that point i knew there was a short "somewhere" and found the chaffed 02 sensor wires. replaced the bad 02 sensor and all is well now. well sort of, now i need to get a wideband.......... :-)
