Innovate wideband problem!
Innovate wideband problem!
I just got an lc1 with xd16 gauge so i can get my car tune and when every thing was hooked up the gauge doesnt read the air fuel rite but when connected to the laptop it does, i recalibrate the o2 sensor like 5 times but no luck...so if anyone have or had this problem please help.
Have you made sure you went through your wiring ? Did you install the led status light ?
If you didnt it might be a good idea for you to install it. Its very useful at telling what its doing. I have been running the lc-1 for about 2-3 years now. My first I installed was working fine for a few months and then stopped working. So I contacted where I bought it and they sent me a new one and dealt with Innovate themselves.
So about 2 weeks ago my second lc-1 just stopped working on me again. i bought a new sensor hoping that was it but it wasnt. So I called up Innovate after checking all my wiring and they had me fill out a form and send it to them and they test it and send out a new one.
So all in all it sucks that they have problems with them but the programming and logging capabilities are great. I tune my own car and depend heavily on my wideband seeing I tune for 12.0's on spool and 11.5 right to redline. So my tune is a little more aggresive so I trust that my lc-1 is giving me accurate readings which it always has and never have had to re-calibrate it.

I had the LC-1 XD-16 combo and I would get random E-2 errors then it kept flashing that and wouldn't reset. Its a PITA. Orderd an AEM......only knock on it I've hear of is the fact that it doesn't do realtime data logging (Thats what a serial port is for on a laptop)
