I am throwing the service engine light. I just picked up my car on friday and the light came on today, 500 miles later and it has an Intake, catback, BOV.

It is an evo 9.

I went to autozone for the readout and they tried two different readers and neither one could get a connection with the car.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

 

I'd be really interested to hear what caused this issue. Please let me know what you find out.

It was access once and then nothing.

 

Did you check the condition of your ecu pins? Do you know if the previous owner swapped out the ecu? Try to narrow down your problem. Good luck.
