Knock sum...need some help

Hi, My EVO 9 is doing a lot of knock...I did 3 data logging, and all of them shows more than 15 Knock sum @ WOT...25psi tappering to 22psi...I'm with Stock Turbine & Injectors...
I was reading some threads, most of them guides to reduce the timming...but reducing timming only? do i need to adjust for fuel as well?

Please provide some guidance...

See attached my actual ROM and datalogings...

thanks in advance for your help...

mod's:
Greddy FMIC and piping
INJEN intake
HKS & Helix Cat Delete Exhaust
HKS downpipe
GSC stage 1 camshafts
25psi
Walbro FP
Forge Actuator

Your fuel map doesn't look too aggressive since it goes pretty rich towards high engine load. I think you can just try lowering timing advance in the areas where you are encountering knock and see if there is a reduction. (try to keep a nice flow to your maps)

Normally if you encounter knock people might recommend increasing fuel mixture (a lower AFR) and reducing timing (1-2 degrees might actually be enough) for the affected areas. (but since your AFR maps seems ok I don't think that's necessary)

do a map trace and make sure that its real knock. compare the expected timing with actual timing that you logged.

map tracing isnt gonna help w/ this issue...

You need to post up a log, so we can better pinpoint the issue! Do u have a WB? We need to know your AFR, before we can give any advice... You can knock from being overly rich, as well as running lean....

Just looked at your Fuel and Mivec maps...
MIVEC MAP: 28.8* is the MAX, so having 30's is useless!

FUEL MAP: I dont like your fuel map! it goes from 11.6 @ 180 load (I think it was) and the next cell over is low 9's... So the transition from that load cell to the next will be quite drastic, which could cause knock... Also looks like theres some "block tuning" going on...

I noticed that too, it should have a nice flow and not jump too much.

If you can post one of your logs with AFR, timing advance and knock sum we can move to the next step.

I have a WB, but is not set for datalogging...but what I saw from it is that the AFR is oscillating from 11.0-11.4

the datalogging already shows the timing and knock sum info.

thanks for the help.
