fq 360 reflash

question for those who can answer this for me. my local mitsu dealer also has an in house tunning company . they currently have a fq 360 reflash available for the evo IX. obviously the fq360 is a overseas model and i was woundering if any performance gains would be had by doing this reflash on a us spec evo IX and if it is even compatible. price is reasonable and i can always be flashed back to stock if it dosent work.

any input please.

They're just trying to void your warranty. Check to make sure it will not void your warranty fist.

what other parts must you have to run this reflash? i dont think a bone stock evo 9 will be able to take full advantage of this reflash. but i could be mistaken.

i have a high flow intake and 2.5 inch licp installed already, and a 3 inch tbe going on soon with a high flow cat and a larger fuel pump.. i know the fq 360 ran a slightly different turbo with faster spoolup characteristics but i figure with the 94 ron available here in B.C that i should be able to get close to 340.

anyone with more knowledge care to add some light on the topic.

well i guess you wont know until you try but i'm sure you'll have to fine tune it for your car. now is the 360hp measured from the crank or to the wheels? if it is to the crank i can so you making it. and do the FQ360's come with the same cams as the USDM evo 9's?

hmm im interested in this too...... although i am getting protuned @ english racing on my way home from California when i pick up the car. im very curious how much this FQ360 puts down to the wheel.

edit: after some research on the forums here, people are saying the FQ360 puts down around 300awhp on a Mustang...which is a basically bolt-on Evo IX protuned. I bet with the mods i have i'll be pretty damn close to 290awhp with a tune on 94 Octane.
