1000cc injectors at stock fuel pressure will support 600whp on gas and 500 whp on e85. I'm at 501whp on my s2000 with id1000cc injectors at stock fuel pressure and my injectors are at 96%.

I went with Fic1450 for my FP black. Should be good enough to get close to 700eng hp per that web link

I helped my buddy switch over to and tune his evo iX on e85. He's using FIC/PTE 1000's and they work great. No driveability issues and good idle.

I will be running FIC 1450cc injectors with straight E85, my friend.

Do fuel lines have to be changed with E85 while making 700whp+ bc Im not sure on that? This is what Mike told me from Spec Ops

"I would go at a min of FIC 1450s. You can make 700-730whp on FIC 1450s. If you plan to be more than that, go FIC 2150s. Don't do anything in between. There is not point. The 2150s idle and are eaisier to tune than the 1650s. "

I would say yes, because with e 85 you need more volume, you can crank up the fuel pressure all you want, but if you don't have the volume to go along with it, there is really no point, your just going to choke the fuel system with bigger injectors and a high performance fuel pump (i'm assuming full blown), think of it like this, you have a straw and a garden hose, at the same psi, the garden hose is going to out flow the straw in a heartbeat.

1450's won't be enough for E85 to support fuel needs for 700+, just spend the money and get the 2150's or ID2000's.

1000's - 1200's are a good safe bet for around 500 hp on e85 while still maintaining a decent injector duty cycle. i.e. not 95% or higher. lol

As for brand, go with what you get a good deal on or what has support around you. I have RC1200's, I like FIC, but if there is a problem with mine, I can just make a short drive to RC and have them check them out for free at their shop. That was the deciding factor for me anyway.

I figured as much. Just want to make sure that's for sure what I need to do for my build this winter

I have to agree with this comment. If you want 700whp capabilities you'll need larger injectors maybe 2000 but if you read some threads there they say that after 1400cc idle and tuning start to become trickier. Bottom line is figure out what you really want out of your motor and buy those. I would personally get 1400 because I bought 1050 and now I want more power.

I made 731awhp on a MUSTANG dyn0 with 1680cc injectors @ 84% IDC. If you don't have enough pump you will run out of injector sooner than you're supposed to, or if you don't have enough volts to your pumps, or too small of rail, or too small of lines, etc.... Evogirlie was definitely having one of those problems for sure
