I'm no injector expert, but I've been looking into sizing my own recently. There are some threads on here that have formulas that will help you if you really want to do the math.

But outside of that I really doubt 1000cc injectors will get you 700hp on e85. Just check out awd motorsports recent thread on setting an fp black record, they maxed out 1200cc(I believe) before the 700hp mark, and are upgrading. Don't know, maybe they mean 700hp from the engine or something.

Besides you'll need a double pumper and bunch of other stuff I'm not sure about probably to get to 700whp.

I'd suggest figuring out what size you'll need for the gas you run on by the formula's and then talking to who ever your going to have tune your car about what brand they suggest/are most familiar with for good drivability.

Srry I ment it say it can handle 700 and I have been told e85 won't work right on anything smaller than 1000cc

And thanks 4 the link

I have had 0 issues with my Precision 1200's. Almost at the 475/450 mark (turned down for the sake of my motor life), drivability is awesome. Pretty sure my IDC is still around the 60% mark at WOT. I need a double pumper and it should go down even more.

That 700HP is on pump gas, not E85. I'm running 1000's on a stock turbo and hitting 80% duty cycle with E85. I've got 430 AWHP give or take on E85. The size injector is dependent on what size turbo you're running. ID1000's and FIC's are very good for E85. Also the ID2200 if you wanna go big. Just search the Alt fuel section and you'll get all the answers you need.

1000cc would be fine. FICs 1050s are good.

I've been told that some of my SCCA competitors are using E85 on the REQUIRED stock injectors. Is this possible, how much headroom do the stock injectors have? Even at 330 -350hp it would be a good improvement.

Thanks,

Rick

Just out of curiosity what mods do you have? Im at 401/445 on e85 and stock with bolt-on's but i feel like i might be pushing it a bit?
