Will the car need a remap or not?

I had the car already 3 months ago and i dont't wan't the AFR levels to go higher. this is for my Evo IX. The car is running 1.8 Bar boost.

Has anyone had this problem?

the ecu should compensate for changes in intake flow via the intake aire sensor. you should be OK.

 

for there to be any significant change in the car yes you do need a remap otherwise youre just wasting money putting parts on and not getting anything out of it. the ecu will not compensate for the new air like 040160 said, thats why you need a tune

I have injen intake and the filter who give the kit.Look up the wastegate.Only if change the screw of the wastegate there are this problems.This is my opinion.I had the same promblem but i had put new turbo because the previous tourbine had damage.When i put the new turbo(evo 9-stock-OEM),my car running 1,8 Bar boost.My mechanic did that and now my car running 1,5 Bar boost.I don't know if it plays role the boost controller of ECU.
