Will a netbook work?
So, in the spring I plan on running 2 maps for my car (E85, 93). I'm not currently sure who will be tuning the car or what not. And I'm also not sure witch program the tuner will be running. But my question is, I was planning on buying one of those little notebooks they sell. And they run windows 7 starter with an Intel® Atom™ Processor... and I was wondering if the computer will support the tuning programs out there...???

Just curious, why not do the Tephra mod and just run switchable maps?
i have one ill sell ya right now used but still has the plastic over the screen and key boared they are a waste of $300 never tried stock ecu on it but aem forget it my droid phone is twice as fast lol they dont have the memory or processor for anything get a normal notebook and you will be fine.
I've got an HP Netbook with XP, and I'm using ECUFlash and Evoscan on it with no problems.
I wanted to stay with an older OS because they've worked out all the issues with it on ECUFlash.
If your wanting to do live tuning than I would get a laptop with more RAM and memory.
