ecu tune questions
hey i bought my car (2003 evo 8) and was not provided with any of the basic information on the tune. im curious how i can figure out what program was used or what programs will work to get into the ecu and look over the parameters. not so much trying to do a full tune since the car was already tuned but maybe make small adjustments to make things a little safer if they are not already.
thanks
thanks
If you have an evo 8 or 9

I would buy evoscan to log.
I would also download OpenECU

Use open ECU to pull your current rom. You can compare it to a stock rom, found here for your vehicle.

Hope I was help. Theres a lot to learn when tuning a vehicle. Many things can go wrong. Make sure you know what youre doing before your best friend holds your beer while you "try er out".
