Thumbs down Tuning issues

Ok so lemme give u guys the background info:

Im currently stationed in Germany. My EVO IX is still in the states with my wife, and when I went back home on leave I had a turbo back exhaust, dyno pulls, and a tune done to it. I had a reputable shop in the area ( Synaptic 3 ) do the work. Anyway, after this work was done I noticed the evo BARELY idles on start up in neutral or when the clutch is pressed in, but runs fine once it gets up to temp and is in gear. Its also throwing a P0300 code.

One thing I also noticed is it seemed to pull harder when I first picked up the car at the shop, and after a while it felt as if the PCM almost "learned the tune" and made it feel more stock than tuned.

Im really new to evos and I literally just started modding the car. Ive worked on SRT4's, and LSJ's however the evo is still quite foriegn to me. I know that the 8's had issues with P0300 codes being thrown due to sensor sensitivity however I dont think that is the issue.

Also one other note, BEFORE I had the work done the car ran fine. Never gave me a single code. Any help u guys can give me to steer both myself and the shop in the right direction is MUCH appreciated.

If you are getting random cylinder missfires, i am going to take a wild guess and say your issue is you popped a vacuum hose or 2 somewhere. i would check around the intake manifold and throttle body area 1st and go from there. I have seen such cause missfires as unmetered maf air is escaping, this will also cause the idle issue and loss of power !

Thanks for the info, I will have the wife check them. The only thing about this though is the evo has had the erratic idle ever since the tune and work has been done, but it still pulled a lot harder when I first drove it after the tune.
