3 Bar Map Install

Just purchased a 3 bar map sensor and tried to install today . Thought it was simple unbolt, unplug, plug and bolt back in and then start the car (or so I was told). Pretty new at this . But I did all that and attempted to start the cry and it turned on then shut right off, as if the battery was dead. Tried to start it one more time and same thing happened. Put the stock 1 bar map sensor on and it started. Did I miss something?

I tried searching for the answer but kept getting hits on people selling 3 bar map sensors.

Cheers,

Chug

The above link is what you need to do to run the 3 bar map sensor....no it's not a plug in and go thing...things need to be changed in your rom in order to make it work.

Nope, you unbolt and unclip the stock one and put the new one back in place of it and then you modify the tune to accept it.
