Before reading, I've searched my problem. But nothing has helped.
I bought my evo a last week with 46k miles. Only mods on the car are a HKS recirculating bov (50/50) and turbo timer. For the first day I had it, it ran fine. But when i drove home i noticed the SES come on. The following day I started my car up and I noticed a rough idle going from 1000 rpm to 500 rpm. During driving it sputters. At first i thought it was the spark plugs so i replaced them with NGK BPR7ES and gapped them from .20 - .28 but the problem didn't go away. I've also tried my friend's coilpacks to my sure mine were faulty but once again the rough idle and sputtering didn't go away. Thanks for taking the time and any help will be appreciated. If it helps i could post pictures of the enginebay or a video of the idle.
