other tuning software vs evoscan and aem ems

Hey guys i wanna know what other software programs i can use for the evo 8 ...i don't wanna go with an ems and i don't wanna use evo scan..will dsm link work? I just wanna get an idea of what other available progrMs are out there thanks

Evoscan is for logging and ecuflash is for tuning

I haven't used DSMLink for a couple of years now, but IIRC they had ported it over to Evo's. Personally, I think it's way over priced. Especially when you can just use ECUflash.

What do you mean evo scan is only for logging? I've seen people make changes "tune" from evo scan..and how is ecu flash different from dsm link

Incorrect

Again, Evoscan is for logging and ecuflash is for tuning

You would use EVOSCAN to log the car. Changes are then made in the ECUFlash SW and flashed into the ECU
