Issues with new injectors

Whats up everyone,
I'm having some issues getting a buddy of mines afr down to a safe level. I just installed FIC 950s last night. Keep in mind that it still has the stock fuel pump which will be replaced as soon as the base shop opens back up. The afr will go down as low as 10 but increases instantly and wont come back down. The car didnt have any issues with afr before the install. My question is, can bigger injectors cause an outrun of the fuel pump even with the boost level lower than it was and fuel maps the same? The car is having no issues during cruise.
Thanks,
Rschanaman

Did you properly scale the injectors and the latencies in ecuflash?

I did, the car runs fine at cruise. the fuel trims are still a little rough at +- 7%. The only issue is at WOT. I added fuel by scaling the injectors lower to see if that would help which is when it would go to 10 afr.

Can you post a log and ROM? I'm having trouble following what you mean by it goes to 10s and then won't come back down. Do you mean that it goes to 10s and then shoots up to like 12s? Lower injector scaling adds fuel and higher scaling takes away fuel. You do realize 10afr is considered rich and needs less fuel?

It's exactly what you just said. It goes as rich as 10s but can't hold it. It's climbs rapidly thereafter up to about 13.5. I installed a walbro 255. I'll check it after I finish worth the evo 9 turbo install...which is a pita lol.
