Has it ever occured that an Evo IX ECU went bad? I have recently noticed that the car is overboosting and i'm picking up a lot of knock.

I have checked the following:

Turbo wastegate actuator is fine
Checked all vacuum hoses( Found one torn one and replaced it)

Now the electronic boost control solenoid i'm not sure because i get a 1.2 ohm reading when car is switched off and it doesn't look right.I'm also not getting an answer on the other section of this forum...
