only tip that really matters is make sure all your connections are solid. and the grounds are even better. the LC-1 is really picky with grounds.

honestly... i install widebands quite often and i would say go aem... i have an lc1 and if i ever need to swap it out i would go aem...

also hardwire it to the ecu and save you self a lot of logging trouble...

Thanks ill forrsure keep the ground idea in mind when im wiring it up. I took my down pipe off today so i can have the bung welded on by a friend.

(joseph143) After reading a few installs on widebands I would deffinetly have went the aem route, but was told the LC-1 is supposed to be a tiny bit more accurate. seems like aem would have been the easiest to install.

I just install a LC-1 too, I hardest part was to connect it to my computer to datalog.
You need a serial db9 cable to usb to plug in the computer and I still didn't find a driver that works good for Windows 7 (64bit) for the USB to COMM. I read on internet, and a lot of people are having trouble with this, they say that there's no secret, you have to try a lot of driver to find one that works... If any one has one that works to macth for Profilic...
Cheers

Finally finished the guage up a few days ago! wasn't nearly as hard as i accepted it to be! For anyone that will be installing this with ecmlink on a 2g ecu in your evo 8. Say yourself a huge hassle and wire everything into the ecu it makes it much easier when it comes time to log your wideband and your not searching for grounds and power all over.

Thanks for the much appreciated help guys!
