4g64 w/ evo head and bf272 timing questions

I know there have been many questions in the past about what to set the adjustable cam gears to, but have seen that many state that it depends what head gasket thickness and what cams you are running. Well I will be using the bf272 cams and a .051 head gasket, and was wondering if i should run the standard 3.5 degree retard on both cam gears?

Also I have had mixed feed back on whether i should run adjustable cam gears or use the stock gears and deal with the timing being off a little. I already have a set so cost wont be a factor ( currently have AEM)

Just degree the motor as everyone's setup will be a little different. There are are many variables.

So using the 4g63 belt, retard the cam gears by 3.75*? Also any input on using stock cam gears (leaving timing advanced 3.75*) or using the cam gears (which Buschur has said "just another thing that could break and end a engine")

3.75 is a round about number. It may or may not be 100% correct for your setup. That's why I said degree your specific motor and find out for sure.
