Boost and Power issues
Boost and Power issues
I am new to tuning my Evo IX 5-Speed but here is what I have done;
Installed a manual boost controller and set it to 24PSI.
Here are the changes since;
Now instead of getting going on all wheels around 3k RPMs, like it was prior when it was stock. My Evo gets going more after 4k RPMs I am spooling and I hear the BOV going as prior but I don't get that punch I usually got after 3k RPMs.
Another thing that changed was my launch control aka "stationary rev limit." It now doesn't exist for some reason. It doesn't stop at 5k anymore. Keeps going all the way to 7600 which is the overall rev limit.
I do have EcuFlash and EvoScan with an open port usb cable and ready to tune. Will this issue be something that can be rectified by tuning? If so, how?
Thanks in advance
