Problem datalogging with evoscan

Here's what I'm working with:

2006 Evo IX
Basemap to begin datalogging with tephra mod
Tactrix 2.0
Evoscan 1.44

My problems:

I can get it to log, kinda. Sometimes it stops logging on its own (evoscan). But when it logs, my acd and antilock lights flash while it's logging.

I have selected MUTIII and EFI for datalogging, along with the Tactrix 2.0 cable selected.

Also, I cannot get DTC codes. I get: "J2534 Read Error - 16"

Does any body have any idea what could be going on?

Here's a video of what I am experiencing.

There is a option to switch off the flashing of the dash lights in evoscan, not 100% sure where it is but it's there.

As for the checking of error codes I found some versions of evoscan work and some don't. Try some different versions and find one that works.

Evoscan stops logging by itself on me too. I don't know a work around for this.

Why not update to the latest version of evoscan? As for DTC's its broken for the 2.0, its not an evoscan problem but a tactrix firmware (or driver cant remember) problem.
