arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow

Hello,
My ride is an Evo 9 2006 EDM, 88840017 tephra 5.5 rom.
I'm having a random check engine light on the instrument pannel (without any side effect), and when I plug the evoscan to do the DTC reading I get "arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow"
I reflash the ECU to get ride of it (by changing one parameter somewhere in the fuel map)
Does anyone knows the cause of this ????

Thanks in advance

Why don't you just scan the cel with a obd ll reader. That way no ones guessing what it could be.

Today I thought the same and scaned it with a OBD reader and It throwed P0170. (I'll deal with the fault later)
My problem is why can't I read the fault with evoscan , is it the car ecu that is saying goodbye or an evoscan issue ? ?
Thanks

Yeah, I've never had any luck trying to read codes with evoscan either.
You should check for vac leaks or your 02 sensor for that code.

Good Luck

This just started happening with my evoscan too. I started using Scatech to check codes.
