Innovate MTX-l not connecting through serial port
Hi everyone. I have an innovate MTX-l wideband set up in my car. Everything logged fine on the previous laptop I was using. when I switched over to another laptop, got my evoscan 2.9 set up and noticed my wide band was not logging. I went to the WBO2 pull down to try to connect and my PC said no driver for this device found. I reloaded the innovate software CD and still nothing. Wont even connect to innovates Logworks 3. Am I missing something? Running windows 7. I am also running the Com port to USB connector (same as before).

Tried reloading the innovate software that comes with the unit, no luck. I searched around the internet seems that other people are having the same problem.

update bought a serial port to USB connector from staples (it was the 2.0 connector) loaded the driver and it works now. Windows 8 is not to friendly to adaptor plugs from what I have read.
