Vipec i-series and link g4+ ecus

Hey guys. Just wondering if people have experience with these new generation vipec and link ecus. They were released last summer. Supposedly They have a more advanced processor which enables more possibilities with map controls and also things like WiFi connectivity for android displays, DBW, and OBD2 functions.

I know the link g4+ definitely comes in a evo plug-in version, theres no mention of vipec plug-in i-series yet. Although both don't have built-in knock like their standalone version do.

Vi-PEC and Link are made by Electronz. Vi-PEC are the premium ecus with all features enabled, stronger inj drivers, mixture map, i44 and i88 have knock built in and enabled, i88 have dbw as standard, Vi-PEC have 30 GP tables, Link have 20.

Regarding Plug-in, most Plug-in are now only Link. Vi-PEC have Plug-in for Supra , Audi/VW 1.8T, Mini and 350Z.

Both are excellent ecus.

^ very good info, I wasn't aware vipec came with all the features enabled. That would've added another $600 or so to the link evo9+ ecu I was looking at, but still cheaper than a i88 standalone. Any advantage to the plug-in ecu vs a vipec i88 standalone with a adapter harness like a boomslang one? Other than cost.
