Evoscan is showing that my AC switch fluctuates between on and off, despite the AC being off. The obvious effect is that my idle wants to bounce around because the car thinks AC is on. Anyone ever had this problem? Suggestions on diagnosing? I don't want to go chasing electrical gremlins if someone has had this same thing happen. Figure it might be a bad relay, switch, dirty connection, etc. I have no idea where to start.

Thanks!

No one? Alright. Does anyone at least know where my AC relays and switches are? Not sure where to begin checking.

Doesn't really help because I'm not on AEM, but I appreciate the effort.

Do you have the switch on defrost? that will turn on the AC without lighting the light

I'm having a friend in the UK log his IX with the AC relay and switch in Evoscan. I'll see what his shows with the AC switch off and on. I'll let you know.

Anyone know if the AC switch logging in evoscan is what it sounds like, logging if the AC compressor kicks on or is it if the switch in the HVAC is turned on? Thanks!
