I am in need of an engine tune ASAP! My poor Evo ix has a terrible fluctuating idle and it drops to ~400 RPMS or so and acts as if it wants to die and then shoots back up to 1500, then comes back down to the proper idle at ~1k. It has been happening a lot lately and it usually happens once I come to a stop at a stop sign/light, etc. Also my car hits a fuel cut/misfire once I am under WOT and should be hitting 25-26lbs of boost but it cuts at 20lbs. It's a very rapid misfire sound and doesn't sound healthy whatsoever. I've changed spark plugs, coils, fuel pump, O2 sensor, and nothing has fixed any of my issues! I'm starting to realize that I am gonna need a better tune on my car. I am in the Upper Michigan area but am willing to travel to Lower Michigan, or the Wisconsin/Illinois/Minnesota area to get this sorted out ASAP!

 

Have you done a boost leak test?

 

Yes I have, no leak was found anywhere :/

 

Do you have a Tactrix cable? If so, there's plenty of tuners that can take care of you with no need for you to travel.

 

I do have one yes! If someone would be willing to help that would be amazing

 

Do your research on the multiple tuners available to you and get in contact with them and let them know what's going on.
