PnP and Cheaper FlexFuel from TSComp

Looks like TSComp will have a cheaper alternative to FiTronic and even a PnP solution. This looks very interesting but I doubt they will release it anytime soon as they need to sell out the FiT kits first.

Sounds like he's responding to complaints and the fact that the rest of us are doing FlexFuel for $200 plus the cost of a tune.

"if you have not received a response, we're not ignoring you"

LOL. Pre-emptive "sorry I don't communicate with my clients"

By "he" doesn't he mean "I"? I can't imagine he has help and is still unable to reply to people willing to give him money.

That would be a lot of $$$ to have tied up if he couldn't get rid of them (assuming he stocks them). I like how he says new customers won't need the fancy display but then immediately follows with "the expensive display is still totally worth it, though". haha. Don't wanna **** off all the peeps that spent all that money on the old ones.

From a business perspective why would you tell the public about a future product that essentially does the same thing as its predecessor but is more budget friendly prior to dumping the old stock? I can see the other way around like "get em while it lasts bc the price is going up!" but not "hurry get these units before the price drops"

Well.... he probably figured it would be worse to only push the expensive version, seeing how word is getting out that there are far cheaper routes. Better to hold onto the displays and try to convince people to buy it, while also getting people on the cheaper version... than to have everyone else go elsewhere all together.

I don't know what the Fitronic kits cost but I've heard north of $900...Makes you wonder what the budget price will be.

$1k is reasonable, not sure why you would LOL at that. ER charges $750 for a flex tune on an EvoX, plus whatever the tephra V3 costs, plus hardware...

Because I'd rather keep swapping fuels than pay $1000 for the convenience of Flex fuel.

Considering a reputable tuner like ER charges the same for flex or dual maps, I really don't see what you're lol'ing at except you're giving up convenience...
