Is it possible to train yourself to do tune changes on a non standard ECU?

Is it possible to train yourself to do tune changes on a non standard ECU?

So I've been on here for a few years and am reasonably handy in mechanical engine work. I've had the car ECU changed out with my build and a Link G4+ installed. I've been back and forward to the tuner doing tweaks and small changes which is a real pain. So I've seen the Evoscan youtubes that were done on here years ago and I'm thinking I really need to learn tuning, well enough to view my logs understand them and maybe do small changes. I assume most software and engine settings are similar.

So is it possible and other people will have the experience starting out, to learn basic tuning from the posts in here, enough to not have to go back to the tuner and do my own trouble shooting and changes?

Check out the HP Academy courses, The courses are pretty damn good for learning about tuning.

This. I think everyone that owns a performance vehicle should take these courses and have a better understanding of whats happening or be able to make changes.

If you decide to get the HP courses, hunt around or email them for a discount code.
