Stupid question about Alt Maps

Hello everyone, this may be a stupid question, but i can't find an answer for the Lancer Evo 9...basically i've found out my car and Evo 9 EUDM, have the Tephra v7, i can switch between the 2 maps with no problem. Yesterday arrived the 1.3u cable, sono decided to take a look at the maps...i have 2 main Maps (low-oct and hi-oct), 2 alt Maps (same as before) and 1 launch map Active...for a total of 5 different tables...the question is, i can switch between 2, but which one im switching? , and how can i active the other 3? And, Im using TPS fo switching, no IC button, thanks in advance,
Luca

I am no expert, but in reality you have 2 map options main map and alt map.

Launch map if enabled, is active when you want to do a launch and you meet the conditions sets in tephra (speed limit and load) once you are past the speed limit it changes to the regular map by itself

Main map has two fuel and ignition maps (high and low octane) if you get knock for example the car will switch to low octane map and go back to high octane when there is no knock present. Some tuners use same values in both maps to get a consistent timing curve or AFR, I think low octane shoud be a little less timing and more fuel to be safe

Alt map has two fuel and ignition maps (high and low octane) same thing as main map, the car will go from high octane to low octane if there is knock present. There is a setting in "Tephra Mod Options" to flash a light in the dash when you are using alt map

Check out this link, it explains Tephra options very good https://evoecu.logic.net/wiki/Tephra...sion_7_changes

Ah ok, so basically hi and low are considered as one map, the low Is Just the "safe mode" of the high One...for the launch map i saw some parameters like max max Speed, rpm and i think TPS position....i came across this doubt because on evo x some are talking about 10 maps selected by cruise and shown via rpm needle, i thought it was similar for the evo 9... thanks alot, in the next days i Will post some graphs because i think it's a Little mess the alt map
