Hello Guys, i've been lurking the forum for a while, trying to figure out how to make my friends evo 8 pop and bang, and there is no way in hell to get any pops of it, not a single one.

its running 96530706 rom, tried editing everything, retarding ignition in all maps and everything, but no way in hell to make this work... anyone has any idea please of how could I manage to make this thing pop and bang stationary and while driving?

Right now it doesnt do anything, only when pushing the IC spray button, sometimes a small pop or burble, but nothing more...

here is what I have done, I dont know if i'm missing anything, not very familiar with these ecu's , we just want this thing to make some pops

 

Fuel is turned off when there is zero throttle input.

My recommendation.
Make hi octane and lo octane how it was.
Use alternative ignition map and make 10/20 load -20 timing ad well as those same cells in your alternative fuel map be 10 afr.
go on a cruise and in 3rd gear and when in gear slowing down. Apply small amount of pressure to throttle.

For stationary rev limit or or 2 step - you must set the rpm to your desired rpm for example 5k. Then at 0mph and 100% it will activate. You can adjust these settings and use launch map to adjust timing/fuel for your 2 step

 

You need to retard timing and add fuel on the same spot
