whats the problem?

are you using ecuflash 1.42 (or a recent ver?)

did you copy the tephramod-94170015.xml into the evo directory? C:\Program Files\OpenECU\EcuFlash\rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo

i presume you are trying 94170715?

did you open the ROM file included in the V7 zip?

I just tried 94170715 just to see if that would work and still nothing. I copy the xml file like you say into the evo directory. I dont understand what could be the problem?

I put the 94170015 xml directly into the rom metadata directry. I did not put it into the mitsubishi sub file just into the rom metadata file. I also had to get rid of my old rom.

are you using EcuFlash to open (ie NOT double clicking on the file itself)?

copy/paste the error image here (use alt-printscreen to copy it, mspaint + paste to save it, and imageshack.us to host it)

Ok I just opened the 96530706 with ecuflash and everything is there that should be. Do I just use that and copy my roms fuel maps and everything over to it? Is there a way to make that come up everytime I open ecuflash?

When you start with the base rom file you need to copy your current tune into that ROM.

its a bit complicated, but there used to be a howto thread floating about...

Ya cus I cant just flash that new one on my car. I always have to copy and paste on to the rom I pull from my car or a saved one from my car. I tried doing what you said but the new tables the load and rpm are higher than mine so I was just going to redo it but you probably know the deal, when flash it on and go to start my car I get no start.

I am having an issue as well, I am using ecuflash 1.42, I removed my old 94170015.xml file and saved it elsewhere, then put the the tephra 94170715.xml in the evo folder and opened the tephra rom and this is what I get

I am thinking I am missing something obvious but im still new at all this. Thanks in advance and sorry not trying to hyjack just figured I would post here instead of starting another thread.
