The restrictors in the line effectively act like the MBC setting.. so as long as the result you get works, then more power to ya.. Its still acting as a bleed system since you have the stock solenoid and a Tee.. I think that with the new solenoid, and not using a bleed system but a restrictor type system, you can get the results of a standalone boost controller.. Time will tell.. I should have my parts in a few days..

on an offtopic note, with 21deg of timing, 11.8 is WAY too lean.. Even though you get no detonation, your not leaving yourself any headroom (Btw I run the same timing at higher RPM, only I am closer to 11.4afr's for the most part.. though 11.4's are tough for me to get with the stock pump with 22psi of boost and I am concerned that the pump will overheat and go lean, so I keep my boost very low until I can install the pump and injectors)

I am excited to see how this turns out. I might have to fab me up the same setup (well maybe I should buy the UTEC first )

I found that local GM dealers usually carry the pigtail in stock. Just not the solenoid, or any air inlet temp sensors. The pigtails are about $10 more locally though than GMpartsdirect (including shipping).

On a side note, do you have a connector that will work with the stock mitsubishi wiring harness?

Haven't found one of those yet.. But I'll be contacting mitsubishiparts at some point when I get a chance to sit down with the parts.
