Question Any thing different about installing SAFCII on an 04 Evo?

I had my SAFCII installed on my '03 with a fields harness and am planning to install it on my new '04 RS. Just wondering if there's anything different about the install on an '04? Are all the pinouts the same? Thanks.

Nah, wiring is the same.. tuning guidelines will be different since the ECU is mapped a little differently.. (wiring has been the same since the Evo5 or 6)

Remember, if you have a 2004 Evo, the fuel maps that are posted will likely be too lean (Some are too lean for even later 2003's)

Of course, Like I say any time I post about the S-AFC, get your car on a dyno if possible and have it dyno tuned.. *OR* get your hands on a wideband O2 sensor and road tune with it. Don't try to find a good setting without proper instrumentation, you could damage the engine.

Thanks. That's the first I've heard that the 04 tuning is leaner than the 03. Do the 04s dyno higher? As far as tuning the SAFC, I have an LM-1 so it sounds like I'm good to go on street tuning the AFR
