Utec yeilds a 11.94@115

Just wanted to let you guys know what the Utec is capable of. I ran an 11.9 at e-town at the WRX vs EVO day. I still have the stock IC, Stock Turbo and Stock Clutch. The Map was given to me by jermaine as a beta test and was just a base map. The car is running real rich as well. Still has room for impovement. Just wanted to let you guys know that you dont need a AEM to get into the 11's on the stock turbo. I LOVE THE UTEC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Id like to know what mods you have also. Damn good time without an upgraded intercooler or turbo though. Congratulations!

Also, would this happen to be the beta Stage 2 map?

Could you post your time slip if you have it? I'm really just curious to see what 60' you pulled off on that run.

I had no doubt in the capabilities of the UTEC.. On a Gtech "Test run" I pulled something in the 11's..

Unless he's a beta tester for the new firmware, its likely the race gas map that they built for their new exhaust (Technically I guess that would be a stage 2 map)

I'm really digging the map they sent me for a base map, though I created a brand new map for my car with more aggressive timing in some areas since I'm not worried about damaging my engine at this point and I'm testing the limits of a few experimental components I'm working on.

Congrats! Its about time someone proved that the UTEC is capable of running with the bad boys, I've never had any doubt..

Let me tell you.. the TurboXS folks are stand up guys, their behind us, go out of their way to help us out, and are really forthcoming with information and the technology that they use..

BTW I'd love to see that map and compare it with my map.. I'm so curious about that timing since I run pump gas only..

I do have a Full 3" buschur exhaust, intercooler, pipes, MAF pipe, and K&N cylinder filter.. However the clutch, turbo, and engine are bone stock.. So I'm confident that the UTEC is capable of really good 11 second times on race gas..

Congrats again!!

I'm actually thinking about going down to TurboXS at some point in the next few monts, if their willing to work with me, I want to develop some components and do some tuning on their dyno with the blowthrough MAF, Ti turbo, and my stage 5+ headed stroker engine I'm working on.. Would the Ti Turbo with 10.5 housing technically be considered stock?

His mods are:
Ur Intercooler pipes
TXS Turbo back exhaust
660 injectors
Fuel pump
HKS Rs Intake
264/272 cams
Mr BPV
Utec
Blitz Sbc-id

This map is Pig rich for c16, i am sure once he gets a wideband and we lean it out, especially in the midrange it is going to make some sick power/times. Timing is still pretty soft also..

BTW this was on the regular firmware not Open loop.
