Funny guys I just bought the ver.2 helix turbo-back for my IX and that **** dont even fit right... the tip hits the inner left side hole in my bumper. Fitment is better my ***.

Your kidding. That was the ORIGINAL problem over a YEAR ago with these. They finally release the new one and they dont fit still? WOAHGruppe-S should chime in here...

Now Gruppe-S gotta replace Ver.2 also! you need to cut the bumper and do the hanger mod to fit it.

I havent heard anything from Gruppe-s about my warranty thing for a month and a half. I pretty much gave up on them.

I have given up as well. The offer I recieved was very unsatisfactory, so now I am researching a new exhaust. It's a shame this issue cannot be resolved and the new items have the same problem. Very discouraging. I wonder if any Helix catbacks ever fit?

Hi,
Whoever has not been taken care of and feels they need to be taken care of should send me an e-mail. We have contacted and resolved the situation with EVERYONE that has sent us a claim form.
The V2's have been installed on multiple cars here without any problems - if you have the JDM EVO IX bumper, you WILL have to modify your bumper for the exhaust.
As a hint when installing ANY evo exhaust system, if it doesn't fit the first time loosen up the bolts and try to push the exhaust system over so that it fits (this is especially true with slip joint systems). The Helix V2 system (and similar systems) also has a lot of play as a result of the ring support in the rear (as opposed to welded on hangars). Also check your downpipe position, sometimes when the downpipe is off a bit up front this is magnified in the rear of the exhaust.

I am unsure what you mean by saying "resolved in this case"... I sent in my claim and it was approved for a new system, however, I dont have it a new system. When it came down to it, what do you know, you guys sold them all to new customers.... can you expand on that? From the looks of it of everyone on this thread, you said you were taking care of everyone however nobody has received anything including people who were "approved" for a new system like me.Originally Posted by Gruppe-S
