What sales price, depreciation scale or trade in value, and money factor (or interest rate) are you using for this deal? What would a 3 yr. lease with $0 - 1000 (max) down and 12K / year run on the same car? Thanks

Actually, it is a terrible deal in terms of a lease. I don't know the exact figures but here is a little worksheet I layed out, based on SouthCoast's current price of a base GSR and Orange county sales tax.

MSRP: 33690
Base Cap cost: 29999
Costs Added to Lease: 0
Cap Cost Reductions: 3903
Adjusted Cap Cost: 26096
Residual Value: 22572
Money Factor: 0.0043 (or 10.32%)
Term: 24 months
Sales Tax: 7.75

Monthly Payment = $356.11 + $27.60 tax = $383.71

Depreciation: 3524
Finance Charge: 5023
Total Sales Tax: 964
Total of All Payments: 9209
Total Lease Cost: 13112.43 (Payments + Down Payment)

The interest rate is the real killer here. Residuals aren't fantastic at 67%, but you can find a 67% residual somewhere else for 15000 miles instead of 12000.

SouthCoast has GREAT prices on EVOs, don't get me wrong. If you are considering this lease, I'd suggest just financing the awesome cost of a base GSR.

If you can get a loan from PenFed (4.5@6yrs) your payments would be roughly $460/month using the same down payment.

And the new Mitsu finance rates of 2.9% for three and four years on the Evo X are great. I just got this on my MR.

Didn't think about that in the drive away costs. Thanks for the heads up

but I'm pretty sure everything else is reasonably what you'd expect the terms to be for a lease like this.

Where did you get the 2.9% for 4 years on the MR? Was that at SoCal?

I never said I had exact figures, so naturally they'd be slightly off. What is the money factor?
