Fuel Octane?

I just wonder how the Evo's in the Caribbean run with just one fuel type. What happens everytime they fill up. How are they able to achieve anything over 19psi with no premium?

they would just have to tune there car to run at whatever octane they are using. probably has some sort of high det mapping on their ecu
