JDM Evo Double Din Dash

With Orbital discontinuing their Double Din kit, are you guys able to get the trim piece from JDM Mitsu dealers?

I'm just curious to what options I have in order to use an in-dash screen.

Thanks!

You could get that from JoD... but you would still have the issue of where to relocate the HVAC controls too.

I think it'd be easier to do this than create a trim piece.

You would still need to create a piece for the HVAC... so in the end it would probably be as much if not more than the Orbital piece.

I think some of you are missing the point...This post is in reference to the trim panel, which is available in Japan...You cannot use the JDM a/c unit, so you will still need to purchase the orbital conversion kit if you want to run a double-din headunit...And order it quickly, because they will be discontinued shortly...Off-hand, I recall seeing stereo trims from Mitsubishi Japan and ColtSpeed...Contact someone over at JoD and they will be happy to help you out.

I had the combo written down somewhere, but you can use some OEM pieces from the GALANT and some other Mitsu SUV to make a working electronic HVAC. I'll see if I can dig it up somewhere.

That would be awesome.

I'm guessing this would be the same thing?

Would I have any problems if I bought the orbital double din, relocated the HVAC and got this for the trim piece around the head unit?

the Ralliart piece is just an overlay for the bezel. U can get the black bezel as i have or the OEM silver look bezel. Either way u need both pieces cause the bezel attaches to the dash and the Ralliart overlay sticks on to the bezel and doesnt have clips to fit into the dash.
