well... you can learn alot by searching old turbo topics. thats how i learned, granted -i still dont know everything. the es should be fine with turbo, OZ is exactly the same, only different by cosmetics and a sway bar.
Unlike you, I love money, I just don't have much of it
One of the best ways is to pick up a used turbo kit out of the for sale forums. If you're patient and persistent, you'll find one in due time. If money is an issue, those other kits may look promising, but you may end up putting more money into tuning it than you would have just buying the RRM kit. Just something for you to think about.

^ yeah... same exact motor. i know 2 people in the area with the turbokits.com turbo. 2 different civics. they both run great. i havent heard any complaints about the kit. if your looking to save a buck i think you should check it out.

yeaa i think im gonna get their kit. RRM is just too much for me.. and the used turbo idea... i know ill forget somethin.. i dont know all that much about all the parts and stuff.
but how do u know if that kit is complete itself, trust me i was in ur boat too, but how sure are u that if has everything u need in it?
You should save your money and wait like i did for a used turbo to go on sale. That would probably be best.

From what I have heard the turbo-kits.com kit needs an extra gasket to fill a gap between the down pipe and cat. Double-gasketing often leads to exhaust leaks. To each their own.
Exhaust leaks after the turbine won't really effect anything but the smell, CO levels, and your ability to pass emissions. I can't imagine why anyone would NEED two gaskets though. Use one thicker gasket or find a better way to join the two flanges. Should be easier than calculus.

good to know.
yeah the kit actually comes with everything you need for the install. we weren't missing anything when we installed the kit on the civic. the only thing you'll need for the lancer is the extra gasket or 2 that everyone is saying.
