Size for Oil Feed Fitting?

Well I got almost all of my RRM IC kit installed. I bought it off of Vince about three weeks ago and he finally got it shipped to me. The only things I have left to install are the fuel pump, FMU, and the oil supply line. The only problems are the Walbro fuel pump doesn't fit in the stock housing (the plastic cap/retainer can't snap into place because the pump is longer than stock), and the oil supply line fitting doesn't fit where it's supposed to.

I have a solution for the fuel pump, but I need to know what size fitting I need to get for the oil supply line. What size is that hex plug above the oil filter and what size is the oil supply line?

If I remember correctly you don't need the plastic retainer on the fuel pump. I think you may be able to find the answer to that with a search, but it'll take some digging. I didn't install mine so I really don't remember.

Afraid I don't know the answer to the oil fitting size though.

I did search up for it, and didn't find the information I was looking for. I called RRM and talked with Gabe I believe and he told me if you get two clips on it would be fine. I took my dremel and ground down a bit off of all four tabs, and got all four to fit. It's snug, not too loose, not too tight.

I found the right adapter fitting for the oil feed line as well at Home Depot. The plug at the block is 3/8 NPT and the fitting Vince gave me was -4AN to 1/4 NPT adapter. So I bought a 3/8 NPT to 1/4 NPT adapter and I'm all set.

Ha, I'm glad I got it all sorted out too. I kind of went into panic mode when things didn't fit the way I assumed they would after hearing about the RRM kit. So, I posted, PMd a bunch of people, when all I had to do was calm down and think things through myself. Also I want to get this running so I can at least enjoy it for a few weeks before the white stuff starts flying around. Should be ready to turn the key on Thursday night.

I thought it should be in the "how-to" section.

The fuel pump installation is in the how-to section, but it doesn't describe that the fuel pump is going to be a super tight fit. It just says "put the new stuff into the stock housing and put everything back together".

Ah . . . . just generalizing. I guess you have to crack the whip over Rhyzin's head for minor correction. j/k
