Not in the Face!!!!!!

Ok, before you guys hit me.......

I've just been gifted with a Mitsubishi TE04H Turbo. (mechanic cousin gave it to me free) I've been reading the posts about all the options for Turbocharging my OZ. What do you guys think about this thing? I'm still pretty green when it comes to turbos, so lemme know something. Thanks for your help.

yeah I have the opportunity of getting one of these also, but I assume that turbo would be too big for our internals.. It'd probably cut our engine life down a few thousand miles or so. I have no idea though. I don't know much about turbos either..

pretty much any forced induction system will cut down engine life... but as for that turbo being too much is doubtful... I think that there are members on here using bigger ones, it just takes longer to spool.... but im sure a more technical answer will be provided later by someone that knows more about the specifics than I do...

i know absolutely nothing about forced induction. Maybe I'll have to grab that turbo. hmm.. maybe someone can point me in the direction of everything I'm going to need to build my own custom turbo setup..?

I'll read up on it, but someone will probably post something before I get a chance to reply, though your best bet would be to post your questions in that thread

This stealth site has some good comparisons of turbos w/ flow charts, but I don't know if the TE04H is on there. What car is that turbo from anyway?
