Turbo Timer?

I plan on putting a turbo kit in my car in the next few months...and I was wondering if anyone knows if there will be a wiring harness out anytime soon for our Lancer? I don't think so, since turbo kits are just now starting to come out..

Maybe someone who has direct wired their turbo timer can hook me up with some directions for wiring it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

any turbo timer you get will, or should, have detailed instructions on how to wire the timer to the ignition. I have the GReddy timer and it's the best mod I have gotten! Really basic to install...u just need some t-taps, a voltage meter, and some wire cutters.

I think there is only 3 wires to be sliced too...

I agree with Boni on this one.. Just get the harness for a 2g eclipse. It is really simple. Just take apart the steering column, disconnect the stock plug, plug the adapter in, reconnect the stock male plug to the female on the adapter. Replace the molding.. Remove the shifter molding and e-brake console, splice into the parking brake, replace everything anf you are done. Well worth the 15 bucks it costs for the harness.. A lot better than splicing a ton of wires.

I got the Blitz with a Gen2 Eclipse harness...Trust me, for $20 it is not even worth trying to do without the harness...

It's not a difficult thing to obtain. Any number of forum vendors who sell turbo timers have 2g DSM harnesses in stock. Definitely use one. I doubt you want to cut and solder your ignition harness. I know I wouldn't want to.
