Passed emissions

I just got my car inspected (my friend couldn't get me a sticker). I knew the guy that did it so he said he'd overlook the first cat missing and the sds system, but it would have to pass emissions. So he put it on the rollers and stuck the breather in the exhaust. They were right at the median, so it passed with know problems. I currently have 52K on the car and over 11K with SDS at 7-8 psi(stage 1). Thanks RIPP

Spelling, not grammar. Why must you abuse the BSD demon?

I use the BSD Daemon because that is my OS of choice.

edit: Props for knowing what it is though.

The fumes must have missed the blower and got to my head, huh. I've been to busy to post lately, but I thought people here would like the good news.

Good for you. In Philadelphia we go by the new OBD-II testing. That requires that the computer not throw any codes. They plug into the harness and read the codes if you have any. If there are any emisions codes you fail. It really sucks. That y you wont find a header on my car.

What is a MIL? i know im a little slow but i cant think of what that is right now. And yes we have a visual but they tend to ignore what they dont like. (at least in my experience)

Malfunction
Inidactor
Light

The other thing you can do, and this is more reliable, to be sure, is splice in about a foot of wire into each of the wires on your #2 O2 sensor and just turn the Cat around. That way the O2 sensor is still getting a different reading than the 1ary O2 sensor and you don't throw a code

And congrats on passing the emissions part of the test!

Is there any way to install a resistor in the o2 sensor to lie to it?

That's what the MIL eliminators are.... bigjoshracing.com

FKRZO: Do you have the emissions counts? How close were they to spec, or how close were you to not passing?

Um, 15 inches, actually.

Unless you're from the state of Ohio emissions department. In that case, I have no idea what we're talking about.

You can use some spark plug spacers. Use 2 and then the sensor is away from the dirty air (because it's in the spacer, obviously). Or just remove the O2 sensor and stick it anywhere with clean air (including inside the car!)...
