Mustang GT's in their most recent incarnation are 4.7l, not 5.0.

You may be able to take WRX's and most V6's in a straight line, but the WRX and most stangs will take you in any turns if their drivers know what they're doing. FWD is by far not the best high power platform.

EDIT: And I doubt you'll be taking anything but 4's running only 5-6psi.

The car got started at around 2:30pm and it got finished at 3 in the morning because we had to test the turbo out. But it is well worth it.

Only limitation is the automatic. Nam can go more boost if he wants to risk transmission. We have not tried more on automatic cause we didn't have one for a long period. With big trans cooler and GOOD GAS he could probably go 7-8psi. But I would wait and see how trans handles 6 psi for a while!

are u plannin on gettin a BOV? also, i think u should get a turbo timer so ur turbo will be ok.
u wouldnt be able to take a wrx with a turbo lancer since the wrx is AWD and at 227hp runnin 14psi. the only way u would take it would be if you had a i/h/e plus fuel mods, a chip, runnin at higher boost, and other ish because the AWD makes a significant difference.

from what i've heard..a turbo lancer did take a stock wrx. but mind you it was stock. the weight of the lancer is what did it. the hp + lightweight took the heavy wrx

Actually I believe a turbo Lancer could take a WRX if you have a setup like Liquid's Lancer. If you are getting almost 200 hp to the wheels of a Lancer you got just as much hp as a WRX. That combined with a good LSD I'd say the Lancer could definetely take a WRX. I also believe a while back that Rock said a Turbo Lancer could take a WRX and since he works regularly with both, I'd take his word on it.

Yep. Boni's car took at least one and Liquid's done a couple too, but Liquid is NOT running 5-6psi so you know. He's running 8-9 Psi and putting something in the vicinity of 200hp to the wheels. No LSD though. None of the turbocharged Lancers have LSDs at present unless they just haven't updated their registry entries or said so in threads.

Imagine cracked pistons and your con rods shooting through your block and your engine never running again?
