i hope to. but we'll have to wait and see

danno is right, the numbers on the site are really guestimates based on boost and math

besides nextgen's dyno, i'm not sure if any manuals (for either stage) have dyno'd yet

but bottm line is its a strong kit and feels really nice. to me, give or take 10hp doesn't make a difference, it all depends on the person

Having seen RIPPMods products (the one being discussed specifically as well as a 4cyl Galant setup) I don't think I'd hesitate for a second if I were in the market for a supercharger. They're gorgeous kits and very well put together, and I'm quite impressed by the so-called "black box" as a creative and effective approach to aftermarket fuel needs associated with forced induction.

Thank you GP for hitting the core idea. HP #s mean (to quote Men In Black) absolutely dick.

Unless you're a dyno queen or a drag racer, all that matters is how much fun it is to drive.

yeah, autos do suck, no doubt there, but sometimes, you just gotta deal with what you got, ya know?

no worries man, you won't be a match for my ported g93 mani and rpw extractors

/lol, i love trash talking before i even have the kit installed

edit: oh yeah, i forgot to mention how sweet nextgen's ride is. lowered, kaminari kit, CP carbon fiber hood, and corbeau seats with harnesses inside. very nice and clean.

well...yea we dynoed at 200whp....but...yes i mean but...it was at 9-10lbs of boost with the dyno...after the dyno..RIPP and us played around with the GRAY BOX....better than the black box...and with a new tune and some adjustments to the belt....we were boosting the car at 15lbs of boost on the first gear, 13lbs on the second, 12-13 lbs on the third....so what ever numbers we had before that...200whp....scratch it...we think the car might be laying down around 230-240 with all the problems!!!!

dun forget the amount of boost is totally DIFFERENT THEN THE TURBO...turbo peaks, SDS DOESNT....

yeah, with the stuff ripp is planning and the sheer awesomeness of my car, i think 220whp on the auto and around 200 lb/ft is VERY reasonable (not sure if i can push as much boost as you guys cause i am without forged pistons)

I have the RRM stage 2 and I'd love to get rid of my lag! Car runs great once I hit boost, but the beauty of sds over turbo is that you get instant power from the moment you hit the gas! I've seen so many discussions of turbo vs supercharging that it made my head spin. Honestly I don't think one is that much greater than the other. Only reason I have turbo instead of sds is cuz I came across a great deal on my kit. If the good deal would have been on sds, I would have that right now. The bottom line is, forced induction rules!

yeah, it was weird riding in nextgen's car. its exactly like a bigger engine, no lag and then BOOM a ton of accelaration. it just climbed hard and steadily, no peaking, no lag, no sudden burst of accelaration

but yeah, turbo vs. sc, its up to you, as long as your making our poor excuse for our car faster
