2004 Turbo
Check with RRM... roadracemotorsports.com
They have not actually released a kit yet for that car but have worked out everything on it and are developing the fuel management now. Soon they'll have a complete drop in kit for you.

hmmmm....damn, I would like to go turbo, only thing I'm worried about is cost and maintenance for it. You think it would be best to just save my money for a turbo kit rather than buying some NA mods like intake and header or what not?
you can get na mods for now... just ensure they'll be used on the turbo setup. TB's, intake manifolds, fuel rails, cats, catbacks, etc... Then you have lost nothing but will gain more when you turbo.

yeah im doin basic bolt ons now until i can get a kit. but with the right amount of money you can get it installed great and not have to worry about much maintenance.

Turbocharging doesn't really change maintenance cycles. You should be more attentive to important things suchs as temps and oil levels, but otherwise it really doesn't do much in the way of creating additional maintenance. It does add more potential for failures (small and big), but most are easily avoided and/or fixed through diligent monitoring and maintenance.
damn, thats what I'm talkin about.....lol
I don't know much bout cars, so I know damn well I would fack it up. If RRM comes out with a kit for 04-05's Lancers, it prolly be best to have them install it huh?

I'd suggest learning about them. A lot. Serious modifications can POTENTIALLY (however unlikely) lead to serious problems. The more you know, the less likely that will happen.

... .lolthat's basically how it was for me trying to research stuff bout FI.
I read some things about forced induction, but I think I'm only reading about the general info and stuff. Heya Hobie, know any sites with better descriptive info about FI/or turbo's? Also looks like their have been books written about FI and turbo's, would you recommend any if you've read some?

auto.howstuffworks.com is good and you can read up on some DSM sites which break down turbo stuff pretty good. Cant think of any links off hand, but I know they are some links in www.vfaq.com that can help ya.
dsmtuners.com, howstuffworks.com, roadraceengineering.com (tech pages), evom.net (search under my name, bahumut, hobie's, rhyzin, and a couple others i'm forgetting), and there's also some other spots but net searching will pull them up.
