I am not really sure why everyone likes to doubt you.

My car was making 175 WHP on only 3.5 psi of boost. I fixed that finally! And now I put down 193 WHP @ 5 psi.
As far as SRT-4's... I can't take them off the line, but top speed on the freeway or from a roll... I just smile as I pass them! Also, I'm only at 5psi! Lancerguy... he's running 7 on 93 octane... he'll take SRT-4s all day in my opinion.
I have to chime in as a former 500WHP SRT-4 owner!
My car (an 03) dynoed at 220whp...Bone stock. Dodge does a lot of their power claims at the wheels. Don't ask for dyno sheets as I have 100 or so and too lazy to go through all of them. For MAYBE $2K...I can't remember, may have been less, I was putting 300whp on the stock turbo at factory boost. On the stock block I put down 450whp before the rings and clutch said bye to me. After that, all forged internals, cams, and a GT3775 snail netted 499whp/490wtq... The traction sucks with only running mid-11's it is evident.
Most likely, the Lancer will need internal work after a while from the boost, or to raise the pressure on a consistent basis. The SRT-4 is under rated in my opinion because there are too many kids talking crap and they don't know how to drive. This gives the cars a bad rap to go with their econo box image. Just remember, Dodge had the GLH and GLHS in the 80's...They know turbo cars.
Good luck in whatever you do. The Lancer may end up being cheaper in the long run but the SRT-4 is a torquey ****!

Yes, and I actually think that the new PCM is less mod friendly than the intro year. Mopar wants you to buy their proprietary staged kits.

very underated i mgiht add, those cars are beasts from a roll. i remeber just trying to catch up to one on the feeder road just to give him a thumbs up. he thought he was trying to race. and he just pulled about 4 car lengths in about 2 seconds. and i was going about 40 at the time. but i really dont think that was a stock srt4 cause that was a little too fast imho.
overall i really want to know whats faster between stage 2 not stage 1 rrm turbo. id mention others turbo's but you companies have not stepped up your turbo kits, which pretty much sums up why you have not sold as much stuff as rrm.
