boost test?

When doing a boost leak test all you do is connect the test up to the intake side of the turbo and pressurise the system up to 7lbs and listen for leaks right. would that also show you if there was a leak in the intake manafold or do u have to connect the tester to the throttlebody and do that seperate.

connect on the intake . . . 7 psi is a little low to hear leaks when I did mine on a TSi. I jacked it to 25 psi to hear a lot better.

Where on the IM?

to see if i have any leaks from the vac lines going to the IM or if any of the im gaskets are bad, or if the injector o rings are leaking if the test would show those kind of leaks.

At 25 psi, you'll hear any weak points from the turbo intake to IM for sure. At 7 psi, you can't pinpoint worth anything.

Injector O-rings, a boost leak test won't find it. I have see worn o-rings and cracked injectors, and they loud-enough hiss alongside spewing gasoline.
