yeah. check the how-to section for fuel pump install notes. not quite direct but you won't need anything extra.

GSX pump will work fine. Hard as hell to get in, but I got it to work.

Stock Evo8 pump is 160 lph.
Walbro bumps that up to 255 lph.

oh yeah, how much boost are your running? fuel delivery will be proportional so this is important.

and no, the rrm 16g kit does not use a fmu. it uses an extra injector.

Ic, ill be running intecooler 5-7psi at the most for now. Is it safe then to use just an FMU and no piggyback for now??or is that a big risk of the motor letting go? cause ive heard of people using them, but IIRC I also heard it runs ****ty like that. So whats the deal?? Im trying to keep this as cheap as possible. But I will upgrade with a RRM piggyback in the summer.

i'd just say spend the extra $40-50 and get a walbro 255 for $100. it's peace of mind if you want to run a fmu. i'm going to say some people have problems, and some people don't.

if you were to run the evo pump, you'd need to get larger injectors to insure proper fuel delivery. the reason for that is fuel pressure. the more psi of fuel pressure you try to extract from the pump, the less overall fuel(in liters/hour) it can deliver.

so here's a quick comparo. evo fuel system runs 4 550cc injectors at 50 psi(i think). magic 8 ball says that if the injector duty cycle was at 100%(which is never recommended), the pump would have to flow 141ltr/hr. as it's rated at 160 ltr/hr at 43psi. roughly the 140 ltr/hr @ 50 psi.

take a lancer fuel system with 4 240cc injectors at 100 psi, assuming this is where the fuel pump maxes out. magic 8 ball says that this will want 87 ltr/hr. i don't see this happening as the evo pump will run only 63 litr/hr @ 73 psi.

BUT, this is based on the assumption that the evo get's the shoddy 12.6 volts to the pump from crappy wiring like the rest of us instead of 14v which i've read in some places it does. if it does get the full 14v, then it *might* cut it as it's rated at 112 ltr/hr @ 73 psi in this case. that might barely make it at the 100 psi mark. then you'd have to invest in a fuel pump rewire kit. blah.

moral of the story, spend the extra money on a pump you know will supply the extra fuel

yeah I thinking the Evo pump wouldnt be able to put out the high pressure the FMU will make.

I just wondering what kind of problems do people have with FMUs?? besides them failing some times. Has anyone on here actually blown there motor on here??

BTW what do the RRM T-28 kits use for fuel management?? I know the t25 kit uses and FMU anone have problem with that kit?

not too sure about blown motors, but i've seen complaints of just failing or people running lean on boost. i personally don't trust a fuel system running that much pressure. an extra injector, to me, seems better than this.

they don't like breaking up their kits so you can probably ask and special order stuff. it's a bit expensive.
