The above thread is about my turbo car but, there are lots more RRM turbos like me with tons of trouble free miles on their turbo kits.

personally i trust A2 just as much as RRM. granted Phillip hasn't worked on lancers, but he's been working on mirages for years. so a turbo from him at half the price of competitors seems pretty sweet to me. It's not like he is a total amateur selling junk.

 

You can trust who you want but come on. I got nothing against A2 or Phillip. I have now idea who he is. But you keep measuring this one guy with a maniifold and a box of parts against our turbo kit......... They have not even turboed a Lancer. You mean half the turbo kit for half the price. Also it is the hard part of the turbo kit that is missing too! We supply the hard part including engine management all piping and 30 pages of install instructions.The part you get from A2 is the part that is made of turbo parts off the shelf with the exception of the turbo manifold. You have inspired me though. I will have my turbo parts webpage up by the end of the Thanksgiving Weekend. I will match everything sold as a kit by them (exactly) for cheaper. Then I will do as they do and just say " yea expect a 100 w.h.p..... all you gotta do is get emanage, la,la,la, blah, blah... .you know then it is is done! That is sad, irresponsible and transparent that you do not care about anybody on these boards. What you do care about is messing with RRM. That is a pathetic display of your true intentions. This is clear to us and many other now! Word is gonna spread too!

It won't be long before everyone catches on to the players, their PMing BS and poor ethics. You can't mention anything you have for sale without chiming in on it costing less. This needs to stay up for the sake of the Lancer community who is being lied to and mislead by a small group of folks on this forum. Leave it up then emembers can decide for themselves. They will decide with their wallets I susppose and that is fine. Nobody is saying he is an amateur but it is pretty clear you are totally one sided and his kit does lack a lot of turbo components and specific items for safe boosting. You know it too but you choose to make statements like above. Maybe A2 gives you a commission or something.

Be cool Rock, don't go all Wal-mart on A-2. Have a RRM's turbo is easily the best. I just don't have 4 grand laying around (maybe I would if gas was $1.22 here. that seriously blows) If A-2's stuff is crap then they will fizzle out i'm sure. If it's good, then Hooray capitalism !

Sure RRm has a better turbo now, but did you know that the only place to get Vitamin A2 is from fresh water fish? Boo-freakin-ya!

 

prench has not being PM'ing me. I have actually had very little contact with him. I am mainly interested in his business because it is only a couple of hours drive for me, and because he seems to know what he is doing and is doing it at a reasonable price. If i could go to RRM and get the same stuff done for the same price i would, but for me its not a realistic option. The simple fact is, A2 is offering a lot more, for a lot less, not just turbos
P&P heads, Intake upgrades, pulleys, headers etc.
Granted he doesn't have near the selection and variety of products you have, but he is getting off to a bloody good start.

And i do agree with you on one thing, people need to see everything that is going on, and be able to decide for themselves what they want to do. Which is why i am supporting A2, and im sure thats why Accolade are supporting them too.

There seems to just be a few minority who insist on bashing A2, the majority of people have been very welcoming and are very open to new things.
Im not trying to start fights here, im just trying to stick up for a small and new business, i don't see why your getting so worked up, its not like A2 is gonna run you out of business, no one else is gonna become the new number 1 for lancer parts.

 

Thank you for reminding me why I do everything I can to avoid RRM. Do you really need to be bashing other vendors and members just because they like different companies?

Agreed. And this isnt really an isolated case. Rob does have some good points though. But its nothing that A2 cant look into and develop further.. With that said why create a negative environment for a potential future vendor by stepping on them now as they just want to get their feet wet.. so lets extend some courtesy, the man has put alot of time and hard work so he does deserve a certain level of respect..

ROCK looks like he is creating in A2 a highly competitive entity who is already highly motivated, and has a very low overhead and just giving them something to prove.. and this can be demonstrated in many ways i.e. price, gains, quality etc. looks like the stage is being set.

Also Prench please become a vendor in the near future.. this would satisfy alot of people..

 

Rock, you did kind of go off there but I can understand why. If I worked for a company who had the best parts and everyone starts praising someone else for making cheaper (lower quality) products I would get mad too.

A2 has caught my intrest and I am considering getting the pulley (I need new belts anyways). But if I ever can afford to turbo my car I think I will save up for RRM. Mainly because of thier experience and Quality products. I have a few RRM parts and they never fail to exceed my expectations.

Nothing against A2, thats just the way I see it.

You are right. We are going to have a low overhead division. I will call it RRM- A2 SPEC kit. It will be available in a couple weeks. IT will have the same exact items in it except it will have tubular manifold, and an EVO3 BIG 16G turbo. (Makes about 35 h.p. more than regular 16G) For the same price. Then you guys will have something to compare it to. People eho want to hate... Remember I am not telling you what to buy. But there are people on here who are confusing you at our expense. That is not fair to us or rest of the Lancer community. You are right this will all work out over time.

Oh yea. New vendors should be around and come out with something new but do not say it is the same as ours when it is not........ Leave us out of it then. We have been wuiet on the boards for a reasaon but people are attacking us for nothing. Guess what we have to respond. If your products have merit they will sell all by themselves without mention of anyone elses products. Hate that I guess. I am not even bashing A2, if Accoaladd backs them then they will do great.

A2, you do your thing, but please make sure you are doing apples to apples comparisons when you take shots at other companies, or don't take shots at all, I'd respect, or "trust" you more. Let your products speak for themselves. If they are good, it will get around. Personally, I hope you succeed, I live in Orlando for cryin out loud. It would be great for me if your store opens up here. I've already talked to you about that, so I'm not taking sides. I just like a fair fight.
