IMO if you buy cheap products you end up with a cheap car, it's that simple. This is fine for some people but for others it just won't cut it.

Well technically it's just the big components. So that isn't a bad price. I swear I've seen that picture before for another kit, maybe A2 or another ebay seller.

Just briefly looking at that kit I can tell you it's crap, at least IMO. Look at the cost, a good quality turbo is more than that (go to RRM and see). This means the turbo is either a generic no name POS or they skimped heavily on everything else.

Well the turbo is a genuwine mitsubishi part!!! If you read more and just because RRM has there price dosent mean everyone else has to have there price also for it to be a good product. Just because something is cheaper doesent mean its crap all the time

How do you know it's a genuine mitsubishi turbo? IMO if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. A 650$ turbo kit is crazy, a decent suspension set up costs more than that. I would shy away from it if it was my car, but feel free to buy it, I just prefer quality goods over cheap crap.

dont forget man......they said it's for the lancer engine 4g92 and 4g93. I dont know about you guys but last time i checked we had a 4g94. I know all our engine is .....is a bored out 93, but if you can't even put the right engine code in your ad.......doesn't make me trust you enough to buy your kit IMO

Sounds very fishy, even the guys that put their kits together as cheaply as possible are still in the $1200 range +, just because THEY say it is a genuine turbo how do YOU know it is, do a search for greddy type-s bov on ebay... theres lots of them but youll be lucky to find 1 or 2 genuine Greddy bovs

My point, Ebay is a huge market for counterfeit parts, if you buy performance parts for your engine you are risking safety, reliability & quality. I would stay away from it.

There are a couple of guys selling their turbo setups on the forums here for pretty cheap....

As they say, if you have to ask about something like this, it probably isn't for you.

and furthermore, probably not for anyone. it would give me peace of mind knowing something that performs such an important function is expensive and well regarded.

Yeah man, get this.. If the cheapo Wastegate spikes on you while youre drivin',
you might die. Period.

At best.. find someone on eBay whos selling their own thing personally.
...say myself for example, whoever.
You might get lucky and find a deal on say.. a GReddy Turbo!
Be patient, get the right parts. There are certain things we can toy with here and there, and test ideas around, maybe screw up and learn from it...
However, your cars performance, and your saftey arent one of those things.

I tell ya what though I like the mani in that kit but like the rest of these guys say becareful. 1: its from Japan so returning this if its junk is going to cost ya alot. 2 the naming on the ad say 4g92 4g93 which I have spoken to some companies over there and they refer to the engine in our car as a 4g93 gen 4 or 5 or something like that so they really dont call it a 4g94 but im still skeptical. 3: they say its a 16g6 and give the mitsu part no. TD05H for it but the pics neva show it on the turbo so there is no guarentee that ull get a genuine mitsu part. Lastly 650 for the price well its only the turbo and the manifold with a few gaskets and oil lines so its far from being even half a kit - lots of things missing so its an ok price. Its all up to you my friend, your choice cuz everything you buy online its a risk of not getting the right part, getting junk, or never recieving it on the whole(Even if the Store or Site is well known).
